Amy Schneider just revealed why she usually bets $4,000 dollars on “Jeopardy!”

Host Ken Jennings asked her if the number has any significance to her.

“Uh, no,” she replied, saying that it’s just become the default number in her head.

“It just seemed like the sensible number and now, why not?” Ken joked.

Schneider revealed she tries to weigh the pros and cons of getting the answer wrong.

“You’re trying to protect on the downside as well,” Ken offered.

“Maybe not if you’re a James Holzhauser type,” he joked.

James Holzhauer made a name for himself for his large wagers in 2019.

He has swept the top ten spots in the “Jeopardy!” Hall of Fame for highest single-day winnings, peaking at $131,127 dollars in one episode.
