Theater star Lin-Manuel Miranda recently discussed his transition into stardom.

He’s learning that producing shows is different than starring in them.

He’s facing criticism from fans regarding lack of diversity in a project he’s working on.

Fans are also questioning him about disputes with a trans actor on the “Hamilton” theater set.

A non-binary actor, Suni Reid, made several complaints in court about the “Hamilton” production team – led by Miranda.

Reid alleged that several cast members asked for a gender-neutral dressing room, which they weren’t given.

Reid also complained that several cast members were discriminated against during their show – Miranda declined to comment on those allegations.

The actor said he loved his experience playing Alexander Hamilton

Miranda also said during the pandemic, he and his team worked to pay his fellow actors’ health insurance and rent if they needed help.
