Is Amber Heard going to appeal the jury's verdict?

On June 1, a court awarded her ex-husband Johnny Depp over $8M.

Heard was found to have committed defamation in her 2018 op-ed.

After the jury's verdict, Heard stated that she wanted to file an appeal.

Her attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, made that clear at a hearing on Friday morning.

However, it may be impossible to do so.

Judge Penney Azcarate told her that Heard must post the $8.3 million dollar bond.

Heard has 21 days to come up with the money.

It remains to be seen if she'll be able to reach a settlement with Depp in that time.
