Actress Amanda Bynes has reportedly been placed on a psychiatric hold again following a previous psychotic break in March.

The former child star recently drew attention when she called 911 on herself and was found walking the streets of LA naked.

According to TMZ, LAPD officers detained Bynes after receiving a distress call from her, leading to her current psychiatric hold.

A medical team conducted a mental health evaluation on Bynes at the police station following her arrest.

Bynes had previously caused concern in March when she was found naked on LA streets and had flagged down a cab.

The actress admitted to the cab driver that she was experiencing a psychotic episode, leading to a previous 5150 psychiatric hold.

Sources reported that Bynes had lost significant weight and had been abusing drugs around the time of her first psychiatric hold.

After treatment, Bynes left the medical facility of her own accord, having cooperatively participated in her recovery.

The actress was reportedly advised to avoid her ex-fiancé, Paul Michael, whom her close ones considered a negative influence on her mental health.

Bynes' conservatorship was terminated over a year ago, after the court concluded she had significantly improved and no longer required such oversight.
