Alec Baldwin Tries To Indemnify Himself Against All ‘Rust’ Lawsuits

On February 15, Alec Baldwin was slapped with a wrongful death lawsuit.

A loaded gun wound up on set and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Matt Hutchins said that he is “so angry” that Baldwin is not taking responsibility for her death.

Baldwin is now trying to separate himself from the “Rust” lawsuit.

He is trying to invoke a provision in his contract that would indemnify him from this wrongful death lawsuit and all future lawsuits.

He also wants all of his legal expenses paid.

The documents reveal that Baldwin actually tried to have “Rust” keep filming.

He wanted portions of the movie’s earnings to go towards a settlement for the Hutchins family.
