As Alec Baldwin continues to deal with the aftermath of the accidental shooting on the set of “Rust,” he is putting things on hold.
A source confirmed to People that the actor has started canceling other film projects to free up time.
Baldwin is not dealing well with the situation and has been hard on himself about what happened despite it being an accident.
The insider revealed that the actor has a habit of removing himself from the public eye happens to deal with pressing matters.
However, with the gravity of what happened, he is expected to be away for quite a while to process things.
On the set of “Rust” Baldwin fired a prop gun that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.
Apparently, it was discovered that the prop gun contained a live round that struck the victims but it’s uncertain how it got there.
Baldwin has since addressed the issue, releasing a statement that expressed his shock and regret about the unfortunate incident.
Investigations are still ongoing about the shooting.
