On Thursday, March 9, Alec Baldwin was supposed to appear for a virtual hearing.

However, he requested and was granted a waiver from appearing only hours before it began.

Baldwin had first entered a plea of not guilty on February 23.

He also waived his right to appear in court the following day.

Thursday’s hearing set the schedule for the remainder of the court dates.

On March 27, there will be a hearing on Baldwin’s motion to disqualify Andrea Reed.

On April 17, the D.A. has to finalize the witness list.

In early May, it will be seen if there is enough evidence to bring the case to a trial.

There was also an argument about the condition of the “Rust” gun used in the shooting.
