The case of Ahmaud Arbery has finally been decided.

In February 2020, Arbery was shot while he was out for a jog.

He was killed by Gregory McMichael, 65, and his son, Travis McMichael, 35.

The incident was filmed by a neighbor: William “Roddie” Bryan Jr., 52.

They claimed that they were trying to make a citizen’s arrest when it turned violent.

They argued that they shot Arbery in self-defense.

Arbery’s family has referred to this as “a modern day lynching.”

The jury consisted on 2 White men, 9 White women, and only 1 Black man.

The jury found all three men guilty of felony murder.
