Travis Scott and Big Boi Officially Join Maroon 5 for Super Bowl Halftime Show

By TheBlast Staff

The Super Bowl Halftime Show roster is official.

Maroon 5 will be headlining the gig, with Travis Scott and Big Boi joining them as special guests.

The acts had been rumored for some time but the NFL made the official announcement on Sunday afternoon.

Many in the business had called for Maroon 5 to skip the performance due to the NFL's questionable stance on various social issues.

According to Billboard, Scott only agreed to play the show if the league agreed to join him in donating to a cause for social justice.

Justin Timberlake was the headlining performer at last year's Super Bowl with Lady Gaga handling the duties the year before.

The Super Bowl will be held on February 3 and broadcast on CBS.
