A Travis Scott fan is suing the rapper after he says he was pushed off a balcony during a concert and claims Scott and his bodyguards only made the situation worse.
According to a lawsuit obtained by The Blast, Kyle Green was among those in attendance on April 30 at Terminal 5 in New York City to see Scott perform.
Green claims Scott “incited mayhem and chaos” during the show, which led to several people jumping from the balcony into the crowd below. Green told the New York Post he was on the balcony when he was pushed over the railing by the overzealous crowd.
What happened next actually garnered some press at the time — Scott can be seen on video urging his bodyguards to pick Green up and bring him up on stage so the rapper could give him a ring.
But Green could not get up (the bodyguards “dropped me in front of the stage,” Green says) and claims he was “improperly removed” from the venue “without a cervical collar, backboard and other safety precautions.”
Green told the Post he suffered fractured vertebrae, a broken left wrist and fractured right ankle. He claims he was left paralyzed on his left side and has to use a wheelchair to get around.
He is seeking unspecified damages.
A rep for Scott did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
