Tom Arnold Files Police Report Against Producer Mark Burnett: 'He Literally Tried to Murder Me'

Tom Arnold just made good on his threat of filing a police report with LAPD for what he says was an "unprovoked" attack by producer Mark Burnett.

Tom went to the West LA division of the LAPD to file a report against Burnett for assault.

On his way out, Arnold spoke to reporters, claiming at one point, "He literally tried to murder me." He also claimed his vocal cords were damaged in the altercation and he was headed to see a doctor.

Arnold tweeted Sunday night that Burnett attacked and "choked" him at a charity event.

According to sources close to Arnold, his legal team sprung into action after the Sunday night scuffle with the "Celebrity Apprentice" producer and obtained statements from eyewitnesses, including one from a Hollywood producer who said, "Tom walked up the stairs and three seconds later Burnett saw him and the next thing I know Burnett attacked him and started choking and Tom did not start."

As The Blast first reported, sources close to Arnold say he was not filming for his upcoming show on Viceland, "The Hunt for the Trump Tapes," when the alleged scuffle went down.

Burnett's wife, "Touched By an Angel" star Roma Downey, claims she was injured after Arnold ambushed Burnett.
