Uchitel, a former Las Vegas VIP host who became Tiger's main squeeze until the golfer's sexual downfall in 2009, says she couldn't catch Tiger's final round live, but caught all the replays of the TOUR Championship over the weekend.
She says the victory is "great," and applauds Tiger because, "He has taken his time, working his way back to where he needed to be physically and mentally to win." Hypothesizing on his success, Uchitel says, "He clearly has been able to compartmentalize again, which is how he is able to do so well when he is on top."
The weekend was dominated by coverage of Woods' progress through the PGA tournament, and Uchitel admits, "Everyone loves to watch a comeback. Everyone loves to be a part of that stand-up-and cheer moment for someone they have followed for so long, where you witness him rise up again from so far below," adding, "And Tiger, well he deserves his comeback."
Woods has not only returned to form on the course, he's also back on track with his love life. After he secured his victory Sunday afternoon on the 18th green at East Lake Golf Club in Georgia, his girlfriend, Erica Herman, ran out and gave him a passionate smooch.
Tiger's firing on all cylinders, baby!
