‘Tis the season of celebration … especially at one of the most popular shopping and entertainment spots in Los Angeles, The Grove holiday lighting spectacular!
The annual event is a holiday staple in L.A. and this year was full of celebrities, fireworks and cheer. Hosted by Derek Hough, special performances included Jordin Sparks and fellow ‘American Idol’ winner Ruben Studdard, Jordan Fischer and boy band ‘In Real Life.’
The starry night labeled, “A California Christmas at The Grove,” attracts thousands every year. While you’re sure to see good performances and celebrities, the tree lighting is the real highlight. Standing over 100 feet and decorated with 15,000 lights and 10,000 ornaments The Grove’s Christmas tree in Sunny SoCal is one of the tallest trees in the U.S.
Fun Fact: New York’s Rockefeller Center tree sits at 75 feet this year.
