The Calling may have broken up in 2005, but one member of the band says legally they still live on together ... so he's suing the other for using the name without his permission.
According to a lawsuit obtained by The Blast, Aaron Kamin claims he and Alexander Band equally share the rights to the band's name, even though they split up years ago. Kamin says their deal calls for one of them to get the other's permission to use the name in any project.
But in 2016, Kamin claims Band began promoting The Calling for at least one public appearance without his permission. He also claims Band runs a website and Facebook page for the band, also without permission.
Kamin is suing for breach of contract and demanding 50% of the money his ex-bandmate has made by using The Calling without him.
