Terry Crews Says ‘Post-Weinstein’ Hollywood is Like Emancipation Proclamation

Terry Crews says Hollywood is finally free, and will never be the same after the Harvey Weinstein scandal, and the actor compares it to the freeing of the slaves.

The “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star was leaving Catch in L.A. when he was asked about the state of Hollywood after the Weinstein scandal, especially after all of the women in the industry have come forward with their stories of sexual harassment, and worse.

Crews says Hollywood will never be the same, and compares women being free to come forward with stories of abuse, to the Emancipation Proclamation.

He also addresses his own claim of being groped by a big-time producer … he admits it happens to men too, but makes it very clear the real issue is the way women have been treated.
