Two men in Tekashi69's entourage have been arrested for a violent confrontation hours after the rapper was given a break in his probation violation case.
After the shooting that erupted during 6ix9ine's celebration dinner with his new manager at Philippe Chow in NYC, two men who were believed to be a part of the hip-hop star's entourage were both hit with gang assault charges.
Police believe the two men originally showed up to join Tekashi at dinner, but were turned away by security guards for the rapper's new manager. After the "BILLY" star had left the restaurant, the men came back and confronted the security, which erupted into a violent brawl.
One of the security guards was hit over the head with a chair before pulling out a licensed handgun and shooting his attacker in the stomach. The guy was rushed to a hospital and is currently in stable condition.
The entire incident is interesting, considering the Manhattan D.A. was trying to persuade the judge in his sexual misconduct case to sentence Tekashi to prison, and were touting his affiliation with gang violence as a major factor.
Tekashi recently made a switch in his security detail, and sources close to the old team tell The Blast they believe his new group of guys lack professionalism.
We're told there are serious concerns over the star's safety considering he is continuing to surround and associate himself with violent street gangs.
Tekashi was not present at the time of the brawl or shooting, and it's unclear if he's been questioned by police over the incident.
