Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Alleged Attacker Indicted on Federal Robbery Charges

The guy who allegedly pistol-whipped and robbed Tekashi 6ix9ine has been indicted on three federal charges stemming from the incident.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Anthony Ellison was charged with conspiracy to obstruct commerce by robbery, obstructing commerce by robbery, and carrying a firearm to commit a crime.

Ellison is due in court in January.

As The Blast previously reported, Tekashi walked into the 79th precinct in Brooklyn on July 22 to report he had been robbed. He told police he was a passenger in a Chevy Tahoe at the intersection of Atlantic & Bedford Ave in Brooklyn when he was confronted by two men carrying a firearm.

Tekashi was forced into a dark color sedan and told police he was attacked and driven to a residence located nearby. He said was told to call an individual inside the residence and ask them to bring down personal property.

According to reports, the robbers made off $750,000 in jewelry and $20,000 in cash.
