2:15 PM: According to the documents, Taylor has been upset "to such a degree that is has caused her to suffer extreme distress and to fear for her personal safety."
She was granted the order, keeping Sandrock 500 yards away until the next hearing in June.
Taylor Swift wants protection against a man who tried to break into her home last month while wearing a mask and carrying a knife and rope, and has filed a restraining order.
According to court records obtained by The Blast, Swift filed against Julius Alexander Sandrock on Wednesday. Back in April, the man was arrested outside Swift's Beverly Hills home.
Swift was not home when Sandrock “was observed attempting to enter the celebrity’s property while wearing a mask and rubber gloves." Upon searching his car, officers found live rounds of ammunition, latex gloves, black gloves, a knife, multiple face masks, black rope, psychologist paperwork and more items.
Sandrock was arrested and taken into custody for felony stalking.
Shortly after his arrest, Beverly Hills PD filed for a temporary restraining order against Sandrock, which has since been dismissed.
Swift has been dealing with countless stalkers over the years, and wants to ensure this most recent incident doesn't happen again.
