Taylor Swift’s music video for “Look What You Made Me Do” just dropped, and while Kim Kardashian is target #1, she isn’t the only celeb Swift went after.
First, Swift references Kim’s robbery in Paris from last year, when she was forced into a bathtub at gunpoint. Tay Tay is shown in a tub filled with diamonds as she mimics a gun with her jewelry-drenched hand.
Swift also brings her Kanye feud into the mix. In one scene, she takes out her phone and says she’s “getting receipts, gonna edit this later,” a possible reference to Kim releasing a recorded conversation between Taylor and Kanye about his song “Famous.”
Not even ex-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston is safe. Swift outfitted her male backup dancers with the same embarrassing “I heart TS” shirt Hiddleston was pictured wearing last year during their brief romance.
Next, she addresses her public feud with streaming services, like Spotify. Swift and friends are shown robbing a company called “Stream Co.”
But Taylor makes it clear, the biggest victim in “LWYMMD” is herself. The video is ripe with her past personas ripping each other for “playing the victim,” acting “fake,” and all the other public criticism she’s received.
R.I.P., the old Taylor.
