Taylor Swift went back to where it all started.
The mega-star made a surprise appearance at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe — where she was discovered at age 14 — and performed for some 40 incredibly lucky patrons.
“I wanted to say a big thank you to the Bluebird Cafe,” The Tennessean reports Swift said. “I think any songwriter in town would echo my sentiments and say that this is kind of the only place where this exists — this particular place where you get to come and hear the writer’s take on the songs they’ve put out into the world.”

Swift was joined on stage by country songwriter Craig Wiseman as she performed “Shake It Off,” “Love Story” and “Better Man.”
The performance was filmed for an upcoming documentary to honor of Bluebird Cafe’s 35th anniversary.
