Celebrities React as 26 People Killed in Texas Church Massacre

At least 26 people were killed when a gunman opened fire at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas on Sunday morning.

The incident began around 11:30 AM ET when the gunman walked into the church and began firing an assault weapon at the congregation. According to the regional director of the Texas Department of Public Safety, a man who lives next door to the church eventually confronted the man with a rifle, chasing him off.

The gunman drove away and was later found dead of a bullet wound. It is unclear if the wound was self-inflicted or if he was shot by the man.

As news of the terrible events spread, several celebrities and politicians took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
