Stormy just launched a crowdfunding campaign and says she needs cash to cover "attorneys' fees; out-of-pocket costs associated with the lawsuit, arbitration, and my right to speak openly; security expenses; and damages that may be awarded against me if I speak out and ultimately lose to Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen."
The porn star says she's only "attempting to speak honestly and openly to the American people about my relationship with now President Donald Trump, as well as the intimidation and tactics that he, together with his attorney Michael Cohen, have used to silence me," but admits that she does not have the resources to fight alone.
Stormy has been on a hot run lately being a featured dancer at many, many strip clubs. But, it seems that the mountings costs of suing the President and running a PR campaign is becoming too much to take on alone.
Stormy's attorney, Michael Avenatti, told CNN last week that there have been million dollar offers for Stormy to speak freely, but claimed that taking the money wasn't in the "spirit of what this is about.”
As of this posting, she's raised almost $1,000.
