Stormy Daniels Gets Charges Dropped Following Strip Club Arrest

By TheBlast Staff

Stormy Daniels has had all charges against her dropped following her arrest in Ohio on Wednesday night.

Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti, tweeted the news on Thursday, saying, "I am pleased to report that the charges against my client @stormydaniels have been dismissed in their entirety (below motion was just granted)."

He added, "I want to thank Joe Gibson & his colleagues at the prosecutors ofc for their professionalism starting with our first call early this am."

In the motion, it states that the prosecutor "does not have probable cause to proceed on any of the three charges set forth in the complaint."

The docs also state that one of the conditions of the charges is that the accused must "regularly appear" on the premises of a sexually oriented business, but Daniels has not regularly appeared at the club where she was arrested.

As The Blast previously reported, Daniels was taken into custody over an alleged touching violation while dancing at a strip club.

According to the affidavit when she was arrested, "three detectives approached the stage. Daniels allegedly made her way toward two detectives, leaned over and grabbed their faces. She shoved each of their faces between her breasts."

Daniels was also observed "fondling the breasts of female patrons," and "fondled a third officer's buttocks and breasts."
