Sterling K. Brown could not contain his emotions after winning his second Screen Actors Guild award of the night, and rightly so.
The “This Is Us” made history when he became the first African-American to win a SAG for Outstanding Male Actor in a Drama Series. Less than 30 minutes later he was onstage with his NBC family accepting the award for Best Series.
Moments after, tears streaming down his face, Brown said “I’m so happy.” He stressed that his entire “This Is Us” cast and crew have been so supportive of him, and to share in the moment together was completely overwhelming.
Congratulations to Sterling and everyone from “This Is Us.”
