The family of Keri Galvan — a victim in the Las Vegas shooting that claimed 58 lives — is seeking $45,000,000 in damages from the estate of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the family filed a creditor's claim against Paddock in Clark County, Nevada on Wednesday.
The documents state that Keri's husband, Justin, and the couple's three children are requesting $10,000,000 each, with Justin seeking an additional $5,000,000 because he was at the Route 91 Harvest Festival as well. According to reports after the shooting, Keri died in Justin's arms.
The family says they arrived at that figure due to a number of factors, including Keri's lost wages and the loss of her "love, companionship, comfort, care, assistance, protection, affection, and emotional support."

Galvan was just 31 at the time of her passing.
Paddock opened fire on the crowd of more than 22,000 people from the 32nd floor of the nearby Mandalay Bay hotel. He fired more than 1,100 rounds and in addition to killing 58 people, he injured 546 more.
Paddock was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
