Snoop Dogg is trying to stick up for Kanye West while seemingly ripping into Kim Kardashian for not "telling him when he's wrong."

The "Drop It Like It's Hot" hitmaker stopped by "The View" on Thursday when they asked about Kanye's recent "slavery being a choice" rant. Snoop says his first thought was that the rapper needed medical treatment, but then he got very serious about his take on what's going on with Yeezy.

"I started feeling sad for him. He truly misses his mother, he truly misses a black woman in his life," Snoop told the ladies. Kanye's mom died in 2007.

"He truly misses the stability of having somebody telling him when he's wrong and correcting him and checking him as opposed to allowing him to continue to do what he's been doing."

People automatically thought he was taking a shot at Kim for insinuating she's not strong enough to handle Kanye because she's not black. As of this posting, Kardashian has not responded to the rapper.
