The cast of “Jersey Shore” is leaving Miami and hopping over to a nearby island in the Bahamas, and even Mike Sorrentino gets to go, because the judge in his criminal tax case signed off.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, The Situation asked permission to travel Bimini, Bahamas from February 9-11.  Bimini is a small island off the coast of Miami, so it won’t be a long trip for JWoww, Pauly D, Snooki and the rest of the crew.

As we previously reported, the judge in Sorrentino’s case has barred him from drinking alcohol while awaiting sentencing, but luckily he has been working hard to stay sober.  He pled guilty to tax fraud shortly before heading out to Miami for the “Jersey Shore” reunion.

As to what they’ll be doing — February 9 also happens to be Bimini Islands annual “Wahoo Smackdown” fishing tourney with a grand prize of $25,000 … so maybe he’ll be working on his Gym. Tan. Line.
