"The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Shannon Beador believes her husband is not telling the truth about how much he pulls in and is asking the court to order him to pay her $25,000 to hire a forensic expert.
As The Blast first reported, Shannon filed for divorce from her husband, David Beador, after 17 years of marriage. Court documents she filed in the case revealed she spent a lot of money each month and now she's demanding temporary spousal support to maintain the status quo she had during their marriage.
According to the docs, she wants the judge to order David to pay her $25,000 to cover her attorney fees and to hire an expert to go through his finances.
Shannon believes he has earned $1,794,315 this year through October 31, based on his financial statements from Beador Construction Company. David has told her she is overestimating his income and that is why she wants the forensic accountant to assist her in determining how much money is at stake.
Shannon also admits she has no idea how much their marital estate is worth. She claims David has far greater access to pay for a legal team and the amount she is requesting is "modest" relative to his income. Shannon says David earns over five times what she earns.
The court documents reveal the two stopped living together on September 20, 2017 and the kids have been living with her. She says she has facilitated regular contact between the kids and David.
A hearing has been set for January 24.
