Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco Details His Worst Bombing Experience

Sebastian Maniscalco is the man of the hour but he took a few punches along the way to become a comedy heavyweight.

We caught up the funny man in NYC after he made an appearance on "The Howard Stern Show" on SiriusXM.

He is preparing for a set of shows at the famed Madison Square Garden and just like the countless boxers that have preformed there, his journey also went through a boxing ring.

Maniscalco says his worst bombing experience was in a boxing ring at a bowling alley in Manteca, CA.

"It's hard to do jokes when someone behind you is trying to pick up a spare," the Chicago native said.

Sebastian has been riding high since his new Netflix Special, "Stay Hungry," debuted.

Since then, he has been lighting up the airwaves with appearances on several New York shows including "The Today Show."

Interesting enough, the town where he bombed was also recently thrust into the spotlight after "Bachelorette" Becca Kufri picked Manteca's hometown hero, Garrett Yrigoyen, to win the show.

Weird that Manteca has been in the news recently despite only having a population of only 75K.
