A rep for the former "Charles In Charge" star tell The Blast "Nicole Eggert finally acknowledged our demand that the appropriate place for her charges are with the police. Given her constantly changing story and continuous search for publicity, we look forward to their investigation."
The LAPD confirms Eggert met with detectives Tuesday and they are "looking into the allegations."
Baio believes Eggert meeting with cops is his ticket to vindication due to her changing the facts around her story multiple times.
Eggert's attorney, Lisa Bloom, says they are fully cooperating with the LAPD probe and also says many people "have reached out to Nicole and me to say that they witnessed inappropriate behavior from Scott Baio when Nicole was underage." She's now fielding requests on social media for anyone who may have witnessed the alleged incidents.
Meanwhile, Baio spent Tuesday doing something else he is passionate about ... taking his pup to get groomed.
