If you were watching "E! Live from the Red Carpet" for the 90th Academy Awards, you might have noticed something was missing: celebrities.

The Oscars bring out not just A-listers, but the A+ list and we were all left scratching our collective heads this year wondering where the heck they all were.

Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic were just short of tap dancing to fill time and it did not go unnoticed by the Twitterverse.

Seacrest, the usual red carpet king, was recently accused of sexual harassment and earlier in the week there were questions as to whether E! would keep him on the carpet despite his denial of the allegations. The network stood by their host and Deadline reported that they were "strongly weighing" a 30-second delay of the live show in case someone decided to call him out.

When the day came, Seacrest proved more toxic than gluten to celebrities who mostly bypassed their usual go-to in favor of other outlets. The biggest names also all seemed to show up at the tail end of the E! show which was wrapping early for ABC's pre-show which has a red carpet blackout immediately before the telecast.

Seacrest ended up speaking with Plummer ?? re: that tweet.

He also nabbed a quick chat with nominees Allison Janney and Richard Jenkins, but for the most part, he only spoke with men and only a few at that.
