Death of Rosie O’Donnell’s Ex: Multiple Pill Bottles Found at Scene, Doctors Investigated

Michelle Rounds was surrounded by pill bottles when her body was found which were taken into evidence in the death investigation, which also includes a probe into her doctors.
An Official at the District Nine Medical Examiner's Office in Florida tells us bottles of pills were found near Michelle Rounds' body when her spouse discovered her in bed, and the coroner took them into evidence.
We're told investigators will now key in on the doctors who prescribed the medications and inquire why Rounds was taking them.
Investigators will also speak with Rounds' family about her drug and medical history.
Sources close to Rounds' family tell us they fear the 46-year-old's death may have been related to pain medication she was taking because of "severe pain" due to her condition with desmoid tumors.
We're told the family believes her death may have been because she was "not thinking clearly" while medicating.
Rosie O'Donnell's statement on her ex-wife's death suggests Rounds committed suicide, but sources close to the investigation tell us there was no suicide note or other obvious signs when her body was found on September 11.
As The Blast previously reported, an autopsy was completed and cause of death is deferred pending toxicology and the investigation.
