Rose McGowan allegedly left a small amount of cocaine in her personal belongings on a flight that landed in Washington D.C. and it has now sparked a warrant for her arrest.
A source with direct knowledge of the investigation tells The Blast it was "a few small bags of cocaine" discovered inside McGowan's personal belongings at Dulles International Airport on January 20. The narcotics were found after her bags were left on the plane when it arrived.
The Loudoun County Commonwealth Attorney also confirms the controlled substance is cocaine.
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained the warrant in February, but we're told the case is not a "high priority."
We're told McGowan's lawyers have been in touch with authorities to discuss the charge.
