Rich Homie Quan has been given the green light on the settlement he reached with the mother of his child after a judge signed off on their custody deal in one of the easiest cases ever.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a Georgia judge signed a final consent order in the case brought by Rich Homie Quan (real name: Dequantes Lamar) over his 4-year-old son he shares with baby mama Amber Williams.
The order states that Royal Rich Williams is now legally considered the rapper’s son and his last name will be changed to Lamar.
Rich Homie and his girlfriend/baby mama will share joint legal and physical custody of their son and no child support was awarded due to the couple still being together and living under the same roof in Georgia.
Back in September, Quan filed court docs with the consent of his girlfriend and baby mama for legitimation and custody of their kid.
Rich Homie Quan says his son lived with his mother between 2014 and 2015 but since then, he has lived with them both in the same Georgia home.
The rapper said he wanted to legitimize his relationship with his son and legally be recognized as his father.
