R. Kelly Deletes Social Media Posts Announcing New Tour

R. Kelly may not be heading down under after all.

One day after announcing tour dates in Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka, social media posts advertising the tour were deleted.

The poster for the tour referred to Kelly as “The King of R&B” and captioned the post by writing, ““🚨 NEW TOUR ALERT 🚨 Australia | New Zealand | Sri Lanka see y’all soon! 👑”

A similar tour was announced back in December 2018 but R. Kelly quickly took to social media to call the tour announcement “fake.”

In denying that tour he wrote, “Watch my social media…when it’s time for my next international tour (which is soon) you’ll hear it directly from me. Stay tuned for more King shit in the VERY near future! 👑”

After the “Surviving R. Kelly” docu-series was released, the singer was dropped by Sony Music while several artists, including Lady Gaga, have removed songs they did with him from streaming services.
