R. Kelly is accused of engaging in the longterm sexual and emotional abuse of a female fan that regularly included the woman being punished for not sexually satisfying the singer.

Faith Rodgers says she first met R. Kelly in 2017 after one of his concerts in San Antonio, TX.  She was 19 at the time and claims he “furnished alcoholic beverages” before getting her phone number.

Rodgers says a few months later, in May, she was given travel arrangements go to to NYC and meet up with Kelly after a concert.  She says that after the concert, Kelly “bombarded” her hotel room and “initiated unwanted sexual contact,” despite allegedly telling the singer that she was “not ready to have sex.”  She claims the sex was “painful and abusive.”

She claims he ignored her pleas and “initiated non-consensual oral and vaginal intercourse.”  Rodgers also says that during the alleged assault, Kelly “insulted and criticized” her for a lack of participation.

After the incident, the woman claims she went and got tested for STD’s and was told she had been infected with herpes, but had been “disease free” before sex with Kelly.

Rodgers says she actually began a relationship with Kelly for a year, and accuses him of routinely engaging in “intimidation, mental, verbal and sexual abuse.”  During the time with him, Rodgers says Kelly would regularly lock her in secluded rooms and areas as punishment for failing to please him sexually.

She also claims to have epilepsy, and is accusing Kelly of plying her with alcohol despite complaining that the alcohol aggravated her “epileptic condition.”

Rodgers is suing for sexual battery, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of emotional distress and failure to advise that he had an STD.
