R. Kelly has been released from jail after he finally posted bond following a three-night stay behind bars.
The singer walked out at around 5:25 PM local time with his attorney, Steve Greenberg.
Kelly's bond was set over the weekend at $1 million, meaning he had to cough up $100,000 to secure his release. His attorneys said it took a little maneuvering for the singer to come up with the cash.
Kelly's attorney entered a not guilty plea for the singer in a hearing earlier Monday. He is due back in court on March 22.
R. Kelly surrendered to police Friday night after he was charged with 10 counts of sexual abuse, each carrying a possible sentence of three to seven years in prison.
Two of R. Kelly's girlfriends, Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, sat in the courtroom for the singer's hearing on Saturday and had questions hurled their way as they walked from the courthouse moments after the hearing was over.
Both girls have claimed to be in consensual relationships with the hip-hop star, despite their families believing they have been brainwashed into joining Kelly’s alleged sex cult.
