The couple are already parents to 4-year-old Prince George and 2-year-old Princess Charlotte.
During her previous pregnancies, Kate dealt with acute morning sickness, also known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which involved nausea and vomiting more severe than the typical morning sickness pregnant women deal with early in the pregnancy.
Princess Kate is suffering from the condition again during this pregnancy, according to the statement, and canceled an event in London today and is being care for at Kensington Palace.
