Prince's Former Mother-in-Law Dies 4 His Vegas Tribute Show

Dearly beloved, Prince's former mother-in-law is gathered here today to get through this thing called ... "Purple Reign: The Prince Tribute Show."

According to our sources, Nelly W. Sainz-Garcia — the mother of Prince's ex-wife, Mayte Garcia — has been going to the Tropicana Theater in Las Vegas quite a bit lately to see the popular show, which features Jason Tenner as Prince.

We're told Nelly loves going to the show and is quite the fan of Tenner's performance. She also is known to sit in the VIP area when she takes in a concert.

Prince and Mayte were married on Valentine's Day in 1996 and divorced in 2000.
