Prince Death Investigation May Finally Result in Criminal Charges

We will find out tomorrow whether or not someone will be charged in the death of music legend Prince.

Seemingly out of nowhere, the Carver County Attorney in Minnesota released a statement Wednesday morning, saying, “Carver County Attorney Mark Metz will announce his charging decision on Thursday, April 19, 2018, whether any person(s) will be charged following the investigation concerning the death of Prince Rogers Nelson.”

The press conference will take place at 11:30 AM local time.

The statement adds, “County Attorney Metz will articulate the legal status of these matters but County Attorney Metz will not take media questions following the announcement.”

Prince died on April 21, 2016 from an overdose of fentanyl. He was found alone and unresponsive in an elevator at his famous Paisley Park estate.
