Lt. Gen H.R. McMaster doesn't seem to be letting stress from the White House get to him and decided to get some good old-fashioned fresh air in SoCal last weekend during a paddleboarding session.
The National Security Advisor was spotted workin' on his fitness on Balboa Island in Newport Beach on Sunday afternoon. He did some light calisthenics at the shore before cruising the calm seas on a standup paddleboard.
McMaster was seen walking to the beach with a cavalry of Secret Service agents tailing him at all times. Sources around the affluent beach neighborhood told us the agents were frequenting many of the small businesses in the area, including the Balboa Jerky Company where we're told they stopped by to purchase snacks.
There's no love lost between the National Security Advisor and President Donald Trump. The President has butted heads with the general and sources have leaked details about their growing tension to a number of different media outlets. In just the last few days speculation has reached a fever pitch and the question is no longer really if Trump will be looking for yet another National Security Advisor but when.
H.R. McMaster -- three-star general ... five-star paddleboarder.
