The super chill "SNL" star describes the proposal in Variety's Power of Young Hollywood Issue, revealing he asked for her hand in marriage in the most low-key way possible.
"We were in bed hanging, after watching a movie," Davidson revealed. "I was like, 'Will you marry me?' It was really dope."
The couple's whirlwind romance began in May they quickly got engaged the following month. Pete Davidson says he is still terrified Ariana Grande will change her mind about their relationship.
"I'm still convinced she's blind or hit her head really hard," he said. "Something is going to happen, and she's going to be like, 'What the f— is this thing doing around?' For right now, it's rocking."
The 24-year-old is definitely counting his blessings.
"I can't even put into words how great of a person she is. I could cry," he told the magazine. "She's the f*cking coolest, hottest, nicest person I've ever met. I'm f*cking living the goddamn dream. I feel like I'm living in a fantasyland."
Davidson has been thrust into the spotlight in the recent months, and while he quit social media because of unwanted attention, he better get used to sharing Ariana with her fans.
