Pete Davidson Opens Up About the Online Bullying He's Received Since Dating Ariana Grande

By TheBlast Staff

Pete Davidson says he has been subjected to nine months of online hate as a result of his relationship with Ariana Grande.

The "Saturday Night Live" star opened up about what it was like to be in the spotlight as Grande's boyfriend and then fiancé, before the couple eventually split.

"I've kept my mouth shut," Davidson wrote. "Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything. I'm trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole entire world just trashes him without any facts or frame of reference."

He continued, "I've been getting online bullied and in public by people for 9 months. I've spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in hopes that it will bring awareness and help kids like myself who don't want to be on this earth."

Davidson then addressed the bullies directly, saying, "I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won't."

He concluded by saying, "I'm upset I even have to say this. To all those holding me down and seeing this for what it is — I see you and I love you."

Pete Davidson's message comes shortly after Ariana Grande revealed she altered a tattoo on her foot dedicated to Davidson's father to instead read the name of Mac Miller's dog.
