Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka have pushed back the date of their wedding and sources close to the soon-to-be-married couple say the decision was made when they realized they needed way more time to plan their dream wedding and it's just not going to happen with all their work commitments.
Hilton and Zylka had originally planned to wed on November 11, which we're told was done because 11/11 holds a special meaning to the heiress "because every time at 11:11, she always says, 'Make a wish.'"
Hilton's ultimate wish, however, is to plan the wedding of the century – so when she realized her work commitments left her with no time to plan, the couple moved the date.
According to our sources, Hilton has a fragrance tour scheduled in November for her newest perfume, Platinum Rush, which is her 24th fragrance. We're told she will be traveling around the world doing a world tour to promote that, as well as her new Paris Hilton Skincare line and DJ shows.
In addition, we're told that Zylka is preparing for his next art exhibit in Dubai in November, then preparing an exhibit at Art Basel Miami.
As one source put it, "When they were planning the wedding they thought it [11/11] would be the perfect date. But then Paris received her work schedule and with all of her traveling and work commitments there just wouldn’t have been enough time to plan the wedding, have the honeymoon and make it the most special day possible."
The couple – who haven't spent a single day apart since their first date – decided it would be best to move the wedding date to next Spring, giving them more time to prepare and avoid having to rush back to work.
Sounds like it will be the wedding of the century ... we are waiting by the mailbox for our invite.
