John Schnatter Has 90 Days to Pack Up and Leave Papa John’s Office

The Papa is not only no longer welcome at his beloved pizza joint, they want him to pack up his crap and get out within 3 months.

According to a Papa John’s SEC filing, the company met Sunday and delivered the official termination letter to John Schnatter, which officially ends his role as the Founder within 30 days. He was canned for dropping the “N-word” during a conference call with an ad agency.

Because he’s no longer a spokesperson for the brand, the company is barring him from “attending major corporate events, making visits to domestic and international franchises, participating in monthly quality meetings with management, participating in meetings with investors and acting as advertising and brand spokesperson” for anything Papa John’s.

Part of Schnatter’s deal as CEO allowed him to sublease office space at the Papa’s HQ in Louisville, KY. The company says he must be out when the lease officially ends in 90 days.

The pizza giant has formed a special committee to oversee an external audit and investigation into the company’s “existing processes, policies and systems related to diversity and inclusion, supplier and vendor engagement and Papa John’s culture.”

He’s also been scrubbed from the Papa John’s website, including all photos and his bio.
