A television station in Chicago made a massive — but delicious — error when confused PyeongChang, the host of the 2018 Winter Olympics, and P.F. Chang’s, the chain restaurant, in a news graphic.
A spokesperson for the WLS-TV told the Chicago Tribune the incorrect graphic was the result of a mix-up. The graphic was made for a “satirical piece” on Friday, but somehow got used in Saturday morning’s newscast.
The station apologized for the mistake, but P.F. Chang’s took in stride, tweeting, “Contrary to this broadcast, we’re not hosting the games. 🙂”
Anyone else hungry all of a sudden?
Contrary to this broadcast, we’re not hosting the games. 🙂 https://t.co/3HW694pE4J
