7/21 9:00 AM PT: Officers actually found three guns in the car and over $107,000 when Offset was arrested.
During a hearing Saturday morning, a judge set bail at $17,000, which Offset should be able to take care of shortly.
On the way out of the courthouse, his attorney told reporters he believes the Migos' rapper is innocent and claims he was not in possession of any weapon. He calls the charges "unfortunate" and believes the arrest was improper.
The power also reportedly went out at the Georgia courthouse, so Offset's hearing was done by flashlight.
Rapper Offset was arrested in Georgia on Friday and is currently behind held without bond on a felony weapons charge.
Offset was arrested by the Clayton County Sheriff and charged with four crimes: possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of one ounce or less of marijuana, possession of a weapon during a crime and an improper lane change.
The two weapons charges against the Migos rapper have no bond amount listed, while the other two charges have bonds of $350 and $150.
It's been a rough day for Mr. Offset — as The Blast first reported, he and wife Cardi B were sued on Friday by a hotel in New York City where their security allegedly roughed up a guy a few months ago. The hotel claims the couple should be held liable for the incident and not them.
