Moments after Nipsey Hussle was gunned down outside of his own store his friends began calling in support to lock down the location from any other attacks.
According to video at the scene of the shooting, a man could be heard calling in the troops after Nipsey was shot. "I need every brother you can down here!" he screamed, adding, "All brothers on deck!"
As emergency responders attempted to save Nipsey's life, crowds quickly gathered to witness the lifeless star get wheeled into a waiting ambulance and transported to the hospital.
It's unclear if the call for support is to help protect Nipsey's clothing store from any possible looters, or to gather the troops to avenge the rapper's murder with street justice.
Gathering members of the community together could also show a strong presence and deter any collateral attacks in the area.
Police have not made an arrest in the shooting death of Nipsey, but we are told the shooter is allegedly known in the area as a former acquaintance of the slain rapper.
Hours before Nipsey was killed, he tweeted an eery message, stating, "Having strong enemies is a blessing."
