Nipsey Hussle's body has been picked up and transported to a nearby mortuary as his family prepares to handle the slain rapper's final arrangements.
Sources close to the situation tell The Blast Nipsey's body was picked up Tuesday afternoon by Angelus Funeral Home, which is located on Crenshaw Blvd.
Angelus Funeral Home actually has deep roots in Los Angeles, and would make sense why Nipsey's family chose the place to handle his funeral services. Angelus was the first black-owned business to be incorporated in California back in 1925. The building was also designed by African-American architect Paul R. Williams.
The mortuary was also listed as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 2006 and on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
It's currently unclear what the services for Nipsey will include, but there will no doubt be a public memorial for the thousands of fans wanting to pay their last respects.
