BET is trying to clean up their mess after royally pissing off Queen Nicki Minaj, and now even Lil Wayne is backing up the rapper on boycotting the 2019 award show.

After Cardi B won Best Rap Album at the Grammys, BET tweeted a congratulations along with a message that read, "Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront."

The "Good Form" rapper did not take the joke lightly, and announced "Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or award show." She even shared a message with Lil Wayne, where Tenuchi reinforced, "I'm with u!!"

It did not take BET long to realize they screwed up, and a mea culpa was issued Monday night. "BET loves Nicki Minaj," the statement read. The network claimed the "respect we have for Nicki was violated by this post that should have never been written."

BET says they have taken down the post, and will conduct an "internal audit" to make sure a similar situation does not happen in the future. They did not say what happened to the employee who posted the tweet.

Finally, BET said, "We understand Nicki's position and look forward to continuing our dialogue with her." Minaj has not yet responded or acknowledged the apology.
